Harley Wagler, Director 
Harley Wagler is the director of the Russian Studies Program.  His qualifications include a master's degree and A.B.D. in his doctoral program in Slavic Languages and Literatures from the University of Kansas.  Wagler is fluent in Russian and has spent over 17 years living and teaching in Russia and Eastern Europe.

Galina Ivanovna Muravskaya
Galina I. Muravskaya graduated from the Nizhni Novgorod Linguistics University with majors in English and German. She is the founding director of the International Office at the University of Nizhni Novgorod.

Liudmila Ivanovna Ruchina
Dr. Liudmila I. Ruchina assists with the language component of the program.  She is the chair of the department of Russian language at the University of Nizhni Novgorod, and wrote her dissertation on linguistic terminology, and has published other works in the area of linguistics. 

RSP Assistant
A North American RSP assistant and resident life director lives with students in the University of Nizhni Novgorod dormitory and works with the director in coordinating travel and activities outside the classroom. Lica Juarez, 2006-7 RSP Assistant, is pictured here with director Harley Wagler.
